Available Free Link Patterns
Markout adds several different kinds of free link patterns. All of them are optional. They are:
Documents
Document free links refer to documents/pages/wiki topics, whatever you want to call 'em. They are written like this:
[[RESOURCE_NAME]]
Categories
Category free links denote (waaaaaait for it...) categories. They are written like this:
[[category:RESOURCE_NAME]]
Images
Image free links are provided to embed an image in a document. They are written like this:
WikiWords
WikiWords are CamelCase words used to denote a resource, typically a document. They are written like this:
ResourceName
Strictly speaking, WikiWords aren't free links, but we're letting that distinction slide here. WikiWords were common in early wikis, but were found to be buggy and kludgy, and as such are increasingly being abandoned in favor of free links. Still, some folks like 'em, so they're an option.
